Did you guys know chocolate bark is easy to make? IT IS SO EASY TO MAKE. And you can put some fancy toppings on there and people will think you are a bonafide chocolatier.
I'm constantly looking for a sweet treat at night, but because it's #cutseason and I have to be in a bikini in a few short weeks- I've been looking for healthier options to munch on. It's dark chocolate... so it's healthy. Or at least that's what I tell myself. If you have some self restraint (I don't) then this really is a healthy little treat! It makes a great & inexpensive gift for all sorts of occasions, and best of all, it's totally customizable! You can add whatever toppings you want, so this bark can adjust to the season.
INGREDIENTS
8 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
8 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped
1 cup roasted, salted macadamia nuts
1 cup chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Flake salt for garnish ( I used Jacobsen Salt Co. - can't go wrong)
DIRECTIONS
- Melt both chocolates in a glass bowl set over a pot of simmering water.
- Meanwhile, line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the paper and spread to form a rectangle.
- Sprinkle the cashews, apricots and cranberries over the chocolate.
-Set aside for 2 hours until firm
